Applications are set to open for the City’s new Adaptive Reuse Incentive Program.
The initiative provides a matching grant to those wanting to renovate or adapt existing buildings that have historical significance are deteriorating or need improvement to meet current fire and building codes.
According to the City of Lethbridge, giving new life to existing buildings provides significant economic, social, and environmental benefits for the community.
The program can provide up to $100,000 in matching funds per property and applies to buildings in the downtown area, warehouse district and 13th street north.
