Police looking to identify pair believed to have stolen $4K in merchandise from the Sunglass Hut

The public is being asked for their help identifying a pair believed to have stolen thousands of dollars in sunglasses from a business at the Park Place Mall.

According to police, on April 30th Community Peace officers responded to the Sunglass Hut after an alleged theft was reported. Police say the two men entered the store and while one was talking with a staff member the other took 10 pairs of glasses, worth roughly $4,000 and left.

The two were caught on surveillance inside the mall and are said to have left through the south entrance on 1st Avenue South, going southbound on 5th Street South. Anyone who recognizes the men or who has information on the incident that could help the investigation is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
