Micro Squirrels & Sugar Gliders form very strong family bonds, are super social, and need companionship!
These tiny creatures have big eyes, big round ears, and bushy tails!
They’re both omnivores so they would normally feed on flowers🪷, fruits, insects, seeds, berries, nectar, and nuts.
With their long grasping toes, they’re said to be some of the most acrobatic arboreal animals around and they need a home with space for them to climb.
Both are fairly quiet, tho they have a variety of sounds they use to signal to one another & they will bark to sound an alarm.
Another name for the micro squirrel is dormouse and this name is thought to come from the French word “dormir” which means to sleep. They love their sleep and can actually snore.
The dormouse was in the song “White Rabbit” by Jefferson Airplane & in the novel
“Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and have been in every one of the movies….with the Mad Hatter at the Tea Party!🐰🎩🐹☕🫖And he was constantly falling asleep there too!

Sugar Gliders are named after their love for sweet things and their ability to glide through the air.
The flaps of skin under their arms allow them to do so and in the wild, they are able to glide up to 45 meters!
Sugar gliders are marsupials and they carry their young in a pouch.
