Brooks RCMP have charged a 21 year old driver after he was clocked going 219 km/h near that southern Alberta community.
An officer was doing patrols at Highway 1 and 2nd street west in Brooks late Saturday night (Aug. 31) when he saw two vehicles racing.
He stopped one of the two vehicles and found two passengers inside, including one youth.
The driver, from Calgary, is facing one count of Dangerous Operation of a Vehicle.
He’s due in Brooks Provincial Court in October.
