This weekend marks the 22nd Annual Lethbridge Rotary Dragon Boat Festival at Henderson Lake Park. Races are scheduled throughout the entire weekend.
“We have over 80 teams and 1,600 participants this year,” says Karleen Straat, media relations for the festival. There’s also 200 volunteers involved to help make this event a success.
This year, Straat says, there will be a great lineup of entertainment, including The Chevelles.
Other activities include a kid zone, a beer garden, vendors, food trucks and a 50/50 draw.
