UPDATE: Residents asked to remain cautious following cougar sighted in the coulees in Indian Battle Park

UPDATE: Lethbridge Police are advising the public of a cougar spotting in Lethbridge Police received a report of a cougar in the coulees in the Indian Battle Park area.  The exact location of the cougar is still unknown. The public is being asked to be cautious in this area. 

Lethbridge Police received a report of a cougar in the coulees along the southwest side of Whoop-Up Drive this morning.

Fish and Wildlife have been contacted and efforts to locate the animal have been unsuccessful, as of yet.

“While there is no immediate danger to the public, residents are asked to remain cautious about the cougar’s possible presence in the area,” says Lethbridge Police.
