Latin Fest returns July 6 at Galt Gardens Park

Latin Fest returns July 6 with a vibrant celebration of Latin traditions, flavours, music and dance. 

The Southern Alberta Ethnic Association proudly presents the nineth annual showcase of the sights, sounds, taste and rich cultural Latin experience. 

According to organizers, Latin Fest will feature a variety of Latin food vendors and food trucks, live performers, musicians, dancers, children’s pinatas, community resources, dance lessons, bouncy castles, a beer garden and more. “Curated by Latin SAEA members, the festival ensures authenticity and community leadership.”  

Countries represented at the festival include Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico and Nicaragua.  

Since 1977, the SAEA has been promoting multiculturalism through various cultural events and activities in southern Alberta. The organization comprises over 25 cultural member groups and facilitates numerous cultural events, including Latin Fest, to celebrate and share the diverse cultures of its members.  

Latin Fest runs from 12-9 p.m. at Galt Gardens Park.
