No injuries reported in south Lethbridge fire

A commercial fire on the south side of Lethbridge caused an estimated $25,000 in damage.

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) responded to the blaze at a building along the 1400 block of 2 Avenue South at around 6:47 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1.

Members from four stations found three vehicles and an adjacent commercial building engulfed in flames when they arrived. Responders worked fast to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading beyond the property.

LFES says no injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
