Recovery Alberta services moving to Lethbridge Train Station

Teams and programs currently operated by Recovery Alberta out of the Lethbridge Provincial Building are getting a new home.

On Monday, October 21, they will be moved permanently to the Lethbridge Train Station, located at 801 1 Avenue South.

The last day of appointments at the Lethbridge Provincial Building is Friday, October 18, with Recovery Alberta offering partial clinic-based services at the new location starting Monday. Full capacity will return on Tuesday, October 22.

Officials add that outreach appointments will not be affected and will continue as normal.

Recovery Alberta team members are reaching out to clients and community service partners to make sure they are aware of appointments booked at the new location. Additionally, clients can call the main office at 403-381-5260 for more information.

Programs at the Lethbridge Train Station will include adult community services, seniors’ addiction and mental health outreach, brief community and specialized services, as well as a family violence treatment program, intensive outreach and mental health diversion.

People with non-urgent questions regarding access to mental health and addiction services or programming can call 1-888-594-0211 or visit the Recovery Alberta website.

Recovery Alberta was established in 2024 and is the new provincial health agency that is responsible for providing accessible and comprehensive recovery-oriented mental health and addiction, and correctional health services.
