A Snowfall WARNING has been issued for the Lethbridge, Taber, Milk River, Foremost, Cypress Hills.
A long period of snowfall with total amounts of 20 to 30 cm is expected.
Significant snow will begin over the Lethbridge region early Saturday and spread across to the Cypress Hills region by Saturday evening. Snowfall accumulations of 20 to 30 cm is forecast before the snow tapers off during the day Monday.
The snow is likely to be wet and heavy and may cause power outages.
