Police investigating death of Lethbridge teen

Police are investigating the sudden death of a 13-year-old boy who was found on Boxing Day.

According to Lethbridge Police officials, just after 2 p.m. on Thursday officers responded to a report of a body outside a business along the 1600 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South. The boy was identified as a 13-year-old from Lethbridge.

An autopsy has been scheduled for next week at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary and an investigation is ongoing into the circumstances around his death.

Police say no further information will be released at this time.
