Explore Lethbridge’s art scene at the ‘5 Stop Gallery Hop’

You can explore the creativity and talent of the southern Alberta arts community at the 5 Stop Gallery Hop later this month.

The exciting collaboration between five downtown Lethbridge art galleries offers a memorable evening of art, connection, and celebration.

It is set to start at 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 25.

Attendees will start their journey at the Trianon Gallery with Marjie Crop Eared Wolf’s work setting the tone for the evening. Next, the tour will move to the L.A. Gallery to showcase pieces by Daniel Audet, Kelly Isaak, Gary McMillan, Corinne Thiessen and Josena Rodriguez Varela, then to the Southern Alberta Art Gallery for works by Katie Marie Bruce, Paul Mahke, Lan “Florence” Yee and ‘Shop at SAAG’ feature artist Melanie Barnett.

The tour will continue across from Galt Gardens to The Galley at Casa, with participants able to check out creations by Beany Dootjes, Mary-Anne McTrowe, Maria Riviere, Bev Mazurick, Jordan Mudrack, Jade Olszewski and Morgan Jayne Tunow.  

The evening wraps up at Legend Art Gallery with a lively mix of art and music, featuring projects by Amy Arsene, Emma Hadford, Jacqueline Inez, Mahtab Nabian, James Odongo and Brandi Robertson. 

Th 5 Stop Gallery Hop is free to attend and will give community members the chance to connect with local artists and celebrate the diversity of Lethbridge’s vibrant art scene.

Guests are encouraged to pick-up a punch card at their first two stops and collect stamps at each location, with fully stamped cards receiving an entry for a prize at the final stop.

  • 4 – 6 p.m. – Trianon Gallery 
  • 5 – 7 p.m. – L.A. Gallery 
  •  6 – 8 p.m. – Southern Alberta Art Gallery  
  • 7 – 9 p.m. – The Gallery at Casa  
  •  8 – 10 p.m. – Legend Gallery
