Two teens hit in south Lethbridge collision

Lethbridge Police investigated a collision that resulted in two pedestrians being hit by a vehicle early Tuesday morning.

At around 7:45 a.m., police responded to a report of a pedestrian collision along the 1700 block of 3 Avenue South.

The LPS says an SUV was going eastbound along 3 Avenue South when it hit two 17-year-old boys using the crosswalk at 17 Street South.

Both boys were taken to hospital by EMS, with police saying one of the victims sustained significant injuries.

Holy Spirit School Division says the incident involved Holy Spirit students and a staff member.
