Charges have been laid in connection to a collision last week involving two teens.
The Lethbridge Police Service says at around 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, officers responded to the 1700 block of 3 Avenue South. They say an SUV was going eastbound when it hit two 17-year-old boys using the crosswalk at 17 Street South.
The teens were taken to hospital by EMS, with one suffering minor injuries. The other boy was admitted with more significant injuries but is expected to recover.

The LPS says the glare from the morning sun is believed to be a factor in the incident. However, after interviewing witnesses and reviewing video surveillance footage, police say the crosswalk lights had been activated while the victims were crossing, and other vehicles had stopped for them.
Landon Eric Veluw, a 24-year-old man from Lethbridge, is charged under the Traffic Safety Act with careless driving, and failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
He is scheduled to be in court on June 10.
