Connect with local candidates at upcoming federal election forums

You can hear from local federal election candidates in-person at upcoming forums. 

Lethbridge riding candidates will be available to answer your questions at an all-candidates forum hosted by the Lethbridge and District Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, April 8. 

The event is at the Yates Memorial Centre in downtown Lethbridge, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the forum scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. 

Registration is required for the event, and that can be done at the Chamber website. 

COALDALE CHAMBER 

If you are unable to make it to Tuesday’s event, the Coaldale Chamber of Commerce hosts a forum in the Atrium of Civic Square on Monday, April 14. 

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with the forum set to start at 7 p.m. 

LETHBRIDGE PUBLIC LIBRARY 

Back in Lethbridge, the Lethbridge Public Library will hold a forum at the Main Branch downtown on Wednesday, April 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

The following individuals are confirmed to be running as candidates for Lethbridge: 

  • Amber Murray – Green Party of Canada 
  • Clara Piedalue – People’s Party of Canada 
  • Marc Slingerland – Christian Heritage Party of Canada 
  • Chris Spearman – Liberal Party of Canada 
  • Nathan Svoboda – New Democratic Party 
  • Rachael Thomas (incumbent) – Conservative Party of Canada 

General voting day in the 2025 federal election is Monday, April 28. Voter registration can be done online at the Elections Canada website.
