Collaborative project to bring Night Market to Lethbridge Saturdays this summer

A brand-new shopping experience is coming to the Agri-food Hub and Trade Centre this summer, as the Night Market will run every Saturday from June 28 to Aug. 30 (excluding Aug. 23).

This free outdoor and indoor market will feature local vendors, food trucks and an outdoor drink patio with live music.

The Night Market is a partnership between Lethbridge and District Exhibition and Domesticated Divas Events. This is the first collaborative project, as part of the Agri-food Hub and Trade Centre becoming the official home for all Lethbridge events organized by Domesticated Divas.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Night Market to the Henderson Lake district and feel it will create a fun and welcoming atmosphere that will enhance the community,” says Deborah Gordon, director of Client Services at LDE.

“Partnering with Domesticated Divas Events is a natural fit. We’re excited to work with them to create the Night Market, while also hosting their popular events. We’ll be able to tap into our shared expertise to create new opportunities that will benefit Lethbridge and southern Alberta,” adds Gordon.

Domesticated Divas Events believes in supporting local organizations and has raised over $100,000 for organizations within southern Alberta.

“This partnership aims to foster stronger community connections by creating inclusive, entertaining and family-friendly experiences throughout the year,” notes owner Courtney Samuels. “From themed markets and workshops to seasonal festivals, the collaboration will offer a wide variety of events that support local vendors, artists and entrepreneurs. Our shared vision of enriching the local community through accessible and meaningful events makes this an exciting step forward for both organizations. Working together aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences that bring people together.”

The first Night Market takes place June 28.
