Pincher Creek woman scratches $100K windfall

A Pincher Creek woman is $100,000 richer thanks to a lucky 50X THE CASH Scratch & Win ticket.

Meaza Bilal won the prize off a $5 Scratch and Win ticket she purchased. She says she loves to play the $5 Scratch & Win tickets most and was thrilled to see the prize revealed.

“I scratched the barcode on the ticket and scanned it—I could not believe what the machine said!” she says. “I even went to another store to see if the amount was real!”

The Pincher Creek local says she is still in shock because she has never won anything like this before.

“I’m going to save some, and I might take some classes at school.”

Bilal the winning ticket from the Shell at 1330 Wentworth Avenue in Pincher Creek.
