UPDATE: Police investigating ‘sudden death’ in Lethbridge

SECOND UPDATE: Police have identified the deceased as a 61-year-old Lethbridge man and say his death has been deemed non-criminal.

No further information will be released.

UPDATE: The LPS says the scene has been cleared and regular use of the area can resume.

The Lethbridge Police Service is currently on scene of what it is calling a sudden death.

Officers are at the underground parking area of the Melcor Centre, along the 400 block of Scenic Drive South.

The community is asked to stay away from the area until further notice.
