Trio of roads closed for the 6th Street Block Party

For a third year the summer is kicking off with the 6th Street Block Party.

The event, which is sponsored by Westco Construction, is happening in Festival Square from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday. During the event 3rd Avenue from 5th to 7th Street, 6th Street from 3rd to 4th Avenue and 4th Avenue from 6th to 7th Street will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday until just before midnight.

During the event, there will be live entertainment, food vendors, a market, a kids’ and community zone, and a beer garden.

The entertainment lineup includes Wacky Trent the Magician, Drag Queens Brandi Jayne and Beauty Quinn, Devin Cooper and more who all lead up to the 8:45 headliner The Decadent Phase.
