Residents are being advised not to be alarmed if they see black smoke in the area as it is coming from an emergency training exercise.
According to Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services officials, the live training exercises will be happening from Tuesday to Friday at Fire Station #4. The exercises will be happening from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily and could produce black smoke.
Anyone who notices sporadic black smoke coming from the training facility is advised that it is part of the controlled demonstration.
