The hamlet of Granum is under a Boil Water Advisory.
Albertans received an emergency alert shortly after 11 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, noting that due to a power outage, the advisory was put in place for the community.
Granum is about 40 minutes northwest of Lethbridge.
Until further notice, all water being used for drinking, brushing teeth, cooking and washing food must be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute before use.
Water that is used for bathing, showering and laundry is safe, but residents are advised to avoid swallowing it.
Municipal staff in Granum are working to restore normal operations quickly, with updates provided at the MD of Willow Creek website.
