Lethbridge Polytechnic welcomes back students Wednesday

Lethbridge Polytechnic kicks off its fall semester Wednesday.

With three new programs being offered this fall in trades, healthcare and kinesiology, now is the best time to get career ready, says Vice-President of Academic and Research Dr. Kenny Corscadden.

“As we embrace the coming fall semester, we’re excited to welcome new and returning students to campus,” adds Corscadden.

New Student Orientation will kick off the fall semester at 8 a.m. Tuesday with an all-day event that gives new students a look at life as part of the Lethbridge Polytechnic community.

Students learning from a distance are also welcome to attend. To register online, student attendees can visit lethpolytech.ca/nso.

Associate vice-president of the student experience Dr. Heather Cummings says there’s an energy that flows in the hallways when students return. “One full of opportunity, excitement and ambition.”

“Our goal is to ensure students are prepared for what happens next and we’re ready to guide them toward that future,” Cummings notes.

To learn more about programs offered at Lethbridge Polytechnic, prospective students are invited to come to campus Oct. 22 for Fall Open House or visit lethpolytech.ca/openhouse.
