Bulls on parade: Coaldale RCMP assist area farmers in corralling escaped animals

It was an interesting start to the day on Friday for the RCMP in Coaldale.

Shortly after 8 a.m. on September 12, the detachment issued a notice that members were assisting farmers in rounding up what they described as two ‘dangerous and aggressive’ bulls that had escaped while being transported.

The incident was reported north of Highway 3 around 18 Avenue.

The RCMP warned parents as the situation was close to a nearby school.

Mounties later confirmed that at around 8:30 a.m., the bulls were contained and loaded into a trailer without further incident.
