Crowsnest Pass RCMP confirming two people were killed in a three vehicle crash late Monday afternoon.
It happened just before 5 o’clock on Highway 22 and Range Road 21 south of Maycroft bridge.
Mounties say a car and an SUV collided head-on and a semi then crashed into the car.
The driver of the car, a 34 year old man from Leduc, Alberta, and the driver of the SUV, a 59 year old man from Creston, BC, died at the scene.
A passenger of the SUV was taken to Calgary hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the semi wasn’t hurt.
The highway has since reopened to traffic though the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
RCMP say it was foggy at the time.
