Chapman hoping to represent Coaldale for another four years

One of the council candidates running for re-election in the Town of Coaldale says that there are several key projects that he would like to see through.

Bill Chapman says the past four years on Coaldale Town Council has been a tremendous time.

“Council is truly a most honourable and rewarding form of public service, for which I am grateful and privileged to be a part of. It is my way of giving back to my community, which I am dedicated to and treasure,” Chapman says.

He adds that the Coaldale community is dependent on good governance, and the group that has been on council over the past four years has been a trustworthy team that has been productive and engaging in the work they have done.

“Through giving full attention to the Strategic Plan of Council, it has kept me focused onto the next stages of the long-term vision for the Town.”

“The Town of Coaldale employs a vigorous and engaged team of senior Administration who are motivated by long-term planning and seeing the big picture. Our role as Council is to steer ideas and to build on success. Our governance model is that of following a planned Budget as approved by Council.”

Chapman says being retired has also allowed him to devote as much of his personal time as he can to public service and to volunteerism in the community.
