New hotel included in $300 million investment on Lethbridge’s west Side

More than $300 million in investment is being put into several development projects in the Crossings area on Lethbridge’s west side.

According to the Tollestrup Group, the four development projects will include a full-service hotel, which will be the first of its kind in West Lethbridge. The hotel is planned to include 120 rooms, a full-service tower, and an extended-stay component designed for long-term guests. Construction is set to begin in 2026.

In a statement, CEO Martie Murphy says, “This investment represents our commitment to growth, community, and quality. We’re excited to help shape the future of West Lethbridge.”

Along with the new hotel, the projects will also include 100,000 square feet of mixed-use development that is said to bring new businesses, services and amenities to the west side.

The development plans include 450 residential properties and a new Green Acres Foundation Seniors living facility. This facility is planned to offer affordable, independent living options for seniors and be close to amenities such as grocery stores, medical clinics, a public library, and recreation facilities.

Work on projects included in the development plan, including the hotel, are planned to begin in 2026.
