City seeking feedback on snow operations

If you have any comments or concerns about the City of Lethbridge’s snow plowing operations, you now have a chance to share those thoughts.

A survey has been launched to gather feedback on items like plowing snow and ice to the right, the city-wide snow route network, and the subscription-based Windrow Assistance Service. The survey is available online here.

The input gathered in the survey will be used to help plan services for next winter.

Lethbridge residents who live along the snow route network and face mobility issues with snow removal are eligible to join the Windrow Assistance Program, which creates an opening along the curb or driveway after roads are plowed.

The survey closes on March 22.

Feedback will also be part of a report to city council in the spring on the results of a four-year snow and ice control service level trial.

The snow and ice pilot program started in winter 2022/2023.
