Three Taber residents charged following traffic stop by Coaldale RCMP

Three people face charges following an incident in southern Alberta.

The Coaldale RCMP said officers seized a significant amount of methamphetamine after a traffic stop on April 1. Mounties reported that the driver initially failed to stop for police.

According to the RCMP, the estimated combined value of the drugs is $12,000.

A 30-year-old woman, 27-year-old man and 56-year-old man, all residents of Taber, face charges of trafficking in a controlled substance.

The 56-year-old man has also been charged with flight from police, and the 27-year-old suspect has been charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

All three suspects are scheduled to appear in Lethbridge court this month.
