Lethbridge Transit to implement new schedules across all routes

Starting Apr. 29, Lethbridge Transit will implement new schedules across all routes.

According to the City of Lethbridge, these changes are being made to improve service reliability and on-time performance.

All cityLINK routes (1 Gold, 2 Blue, 3 Green and 4 Orange) will operate at a 33-minute frequency. Additionally, the 3 Green and 4 Orange will become interlined.

For users, this means:

  • 4 Orange will depart from Crossings Station to Southgate Station.
  • It will then switch to the 3 Green, depart to Sherring Station, then return to Southgate Station.
  • It will then switch back to the 4 Orange, depart to Crossings Station and repeat the cycle.

The following routes will experience slight timing and scheduling changes:

  • 51, 52 and 53
  • 60A, 60B and 60C
  • 61A and 61B
  • 62

The West Highlands on-demand zone (101) will have an additional stop at Westside Trailer Court (located at 2715 Westside Drive).

The Southgate on-demand zone (103) will expand, east of 47 Street South, to include Southbrook.

Transit passengers can use the City’s online trip planner, the mobile app, the ride guide or Google Maps to plan commutes for Apr. 29 and beyond.
