Electrical work results in lane closure on Scenic Drive South

Commuters in Lethbridge are advised of some work impacting a small section of Scenic Drive South.

The City of Lethbridge reported that electrical work is being done on the busy roadway, leading to a closure of the southbound right-hand lane between 4 Avenue and 5 Avenue South. The closure is in effect on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Officials said the project involves moving electrical infrastructure to widen the west sidewalk along the 400 block of Scenic Drive.

The project is anticipated to be finished by May 8.
