Complimentary roses to honour mothers, memories

Complimentary roses will once again be offered to visitors at Mountain View Cemetery to honour mothers and memories.

The cherished Lethbridge Mother’s Day tradition was first introduced in 2018 by the Parks and Cemeteries team for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

Mother’s Day remains one of the cemetery’s busiest days, and staff are grateful to continue supporting the community, as they remember loved ones and celebrate life.

The first 300 visitors are invited to pick up a rose near the Mountain View Cemetery Office this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or while supplies last.

Complimentary flowers will also be offered on Father’s Day, which falls on June 21.
