Big Macs serve up bigger impact on McHappy Day

Southern Albertans helped raise more than $51,000 for local organizations and Ronald McDonald House Charities during this year’s McHappy Day campaign.

According to operations consultant Alicia Converse, every purchase, shared meal, volunteer contribution and donation at the Lethbridge, Fort Macleod, Pincher Creek, Cardston and Claresholm locations helped raise $51,200.

“The success of this day is only possible because of the amazing support from our communities, staff, local businesses, and volunteers who showed up with such enthusiasm and heart,” Converse said.

The 32nd annual McHappy Day campaign generated more than $10.8 million across Canada.
