Planned power outage Tuesday may affect residents northwest of Henderson Lake

On Tuesday, a planned power outage will impact some residents northwest of Henderson Lake.

From 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., City of Lethbridge crews will upgrade overhead power lines between 6 Avenue South and Crowsnest Trail, from 25 Street South to 27 Street South.

Approximately 131 properties in this area will be without power during this period.

If you are affected by a power outage, please remember:

  • Garage doors will not work during a power outage. Park vehicles outside before the outage is scheduled to begin.
  • Treat intersections with non-functioning traffic lights as four-way stops.

You can find more information about planned and unplanned power outages on the City’s online power outage map. This includes a map of the affected area, the number of residents within the affected area and estimated restoration times.
