‘Off the Record’ program returns with new session for local youth

The ‘Off the Record’ program returns to Lethbridge next week.

The City of Lethbridge said the initiative aims to build stronger relationships between local youth and first responders. Partners in the program include the City, Lethbridge Police Service, Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services, and other community groups.

‘Off the Record’ is part of the Building Safer Communities initiative, and the next event will be on Monday, July 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Wilson Middle School outdoor basketball court and soccer field in north Lethbridge.

Youth aged 10 to 17 can enjoy a one-hour basketball and soccer session with first responders. Sign-up can be done online.

More information about the program and Building Safer Communities is on the City of Lethbridge website.
