Lethbridge teenager taken to hospital in Calgary suffering from stab wounds

A 16 year old Lethbridge boy is recovering in a Calgary hospital after being stabbed Thursday night.

Officers were called to an alley along the 200 block of Mayor Magrath Drive north just before midnight where they found the injured teenager.

He was taken to Chinook Regional Hospital then transferred to Calgary where he remains in stable condition.

Video surveillance led police to a person of interest and officers ended up arresting eleven people at the subject’s home.

The investigation is ongoing though police say preliminary evidence suggests this was not a random incident as some of the people involved are known to each other.
