The unemployment rate was down 0.9 percentage points from July 2025.

Red Deer continued to record the province’s highest seasonally adjusted unemployment rate at 7.6 per cent in July, up 0.2 percentage points from June.

Edmonton’s unemployment rate was 6.9 per cent, while Calgary’s was 6.8 per cent.
