Coalhurst will be holding a municipal by-election Dec. 7, at which time one Town Councillor will be elected.
The by-election comes after Councillor Brody Prete resigned from Town Council Aug. 28.
In accordance with the Municipal Government Act, a by-election must take place within 120 days of a resignation.
Advance and general voting will take place at the Coalhurst Community Centre.
Coalhurst residents interested in becoming a candidate for the by-election are encouraged to learn more about the position and the nomination process by visiting the Town’s website.
