TELUS outage disrupts services across Alberta

TELUS customers across Alberta are reporting disruptions to wireless services, with some experiencing difficulties reaching emergency services.

The service interruptions have also been reported in parts of British Columbia and Ontario, affecting mobile devices and, in some communities, landline phones.

TELUS has warned that mobile network disruptions could affect customers’ ability to connect with emergency services by calling 911.

The company is investigating the reported service interruptions. However, the full extent of the disruption and the number of affected customers have not been confirmed.

More information, including reported outages, can be found here.
