The Western Hockey League’s Moose Jaw Warriors announcing they will be initiating a formal review of the club’s primary logo which is the silhouette of a person wearing an Indigenous headdress.
Team officials say this represents the next step in what has been an ongoing internal discussion to this point.
They say part of the review will be discussions with stakeholders and community partners.
