LETHBRIDGE, AB – The number of active COVID-19 cases in Lethbridge has declined for four consecutive days now.
Despite seven people testing positive for the virus, there were enough recoveries to drop the number of active cases from 132 to 125 day-over-day.
Cardston County continues to fluctuate with 11 new cases reported in the past day and a bump up to 114 active cases from 107 the previous day.
Alberta-wide there were 643 new cases confirmed out of just over 13,000 tests for a provincial positivity rate of 4.9 percent.
There was a slight decline in hospitalizations (-35) and ICU admissions (-4) however, 12 new deaths were confirmed.
As of Jan. 21 there had been 97,785 doses of vaccine administered in Alberta.
