LETHBRIDGE, AB – A handful of arenas are now available for scheduled use through community groups.
Last Saturday, Feb. 6, the provincial government announced changes to restrictions for children’s teams and school sports.
The city has since re-assessed the impact these changes will have on facility operations and determined community groups will be able to use the ATB Centre, ENMAX Centre, Nicholas Sheran Arena, Logan Boulet Arena and Labor Club Ice Centre.
All bookings must be coordinated through the community groups at this time. Those interested in accessing programming at the arenas can find a list of most local community groups at www.lethbridge.ca/SportGroups
The rest of the arenas will remain closed until Fall 2021 but will be re-assessed as guidelines evolve.
Pools managed by Recreation Excellence remain closed but the City says work is being done to identify programming options.
