EDMONTON, AB – Premier Jason Kenney will be undergoing a leadership review within the next three months now that 22 of his party’s constituency associations have passed special motions on the issue.
A review was already planned for April, but now that will have to happen before March 1, 2022.
A letter from those associations to UCP President Ryan Becker says an “independent professional accounting and auditing firm” will oversee the process along with two constituency presidents appointed by the associations.
This announcement comes just ahead of the party’s annual general meeting that’s happening this coming weekend.
