Emergency water main work on 3 Avenue South begins Thursday

Starting Thursday morning, a block of westbound 3 Avenue South will be closed so crews can get to work on some emergency water main repair work.

The City of Lethbridge says workers will be on-site starting at 9 a.m. January 27th, which means all westbound lanes between 18 and 19 Street South, including the turning lanes, will be closed. Two-way traffic will be maintained in the eastbound lanes.

The city says, weather permitting, the work is expected to wrap up by the end of the month.
