Northside residential fire leaves one person injured

One person has sustained minor injuries following a northside residential fire on Wednesday night.

Fire crews responded to the fire at around 11p.m. on on Eagle Rd North, and saw flames coming from the basement of the house. Crews were able to quickly get the fire under control and were able to save a dog and another pet from the residence.

An estimate of the damages has not yet been released, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
