Two Lethbridge teams are heading to the Canadian National Dragon Boat Championships in Regina this weekend.
The Coulee Classic Dragons, a 49+ Senior Women’s B entry, along with the Coulee Cruisers, Premier-Mixed Division competitors, will be joining 132 crews for national honours in a number of events.
Coach Karen Johnson says the goal is to earn an invitation to compete under the Dragon Boat Canada umbrella at the Club Crew World Championships in France next summer.
The Cruisers meanwhile will be making their inaugural entry in a high-calibre competition.
