Modified Coaldale pool schedule result of staffing shortages

The Coaldale Outdoor Pool’s schedule will look a little different the rest of the season due to “staffing shortages,” according to the town.

Moving forward on Fridays, the facility will open at noon and close at 7 p.m., following the current Saturday and Sunday schedule. The pool will remain open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, with times blocked off for swimming lessons, aquafit and lane swimming.

Modified schedules will also be incorporated for the upcoming stat holiday and Coaldale Summer Fest. On Monday, August 7, lane swim is scheduled from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., and free open swim will be from 1 p.m. to 4p.m. On Saturday, August 12, the pool will only be open for free open swim from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
