Community Animal Services Rescue Fest

Community Animal Services and the City of Lethbridge Animal Welfare Committee are excited to host Rescue Fest, an opportunity for community members to meet adoptable animals and learn how they can support local animal rescue groups through volunteering, adoption, fostering, and donating. As most communities across the country experience the pet overpopulation crisis, volunteer-based animal rescue groups are struggling to keep up. Through Rescue Fest, we are hoping to recruit volunteers, donors, and adopters for local organizations.The event will take place from 3 pm to 6 pm, Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the Lethbridge Animal Shelter, 2405 41 St N. During the event, donations of supplies for the Community Pet Food Bank will be collected.
