Lethbridge man arrested in Taber, charged with drug trafficking

A Lethbridge man is facing a drug trafficking charge after an incident in Taber last week.

Taber Police say suspicious activity was noted in a residential area early Friday morning prompting an investigation.

Officers stopped a vehicle and searched it, recovering over 58 grams of cocaine.

47 year old Lester George has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

He was released on bail to return to Taber Provincial Court on August 20th.
