Ag Expo tickets go on sale

Tickets are now available for the first Ag Expo to be hosted at the new Agri-food Hub and Trade Centre.

The show is scheduled for Feb. 27-29 and will give visitors a glimpse into southern Alberta’s agriculture industry.

Early bird general admission tickets are $17.14 and offer a saving of about $2 over full-price admission.

“Hoping to inspire the region’s next generation of agricultural leaders, free admission is available at the door for 4-H Club Members, students in agriculture-based programs at the University of Lethbridge and Lethbridge College and all youth 11 and under,” reads a news release from the Lethbridge and District Exhibition.

Vendor space has been sold out for the show and more than 300 companies will be there to showcase things such as equipment, technology, irrigation systems and livestock supplies.

This year’s event will also feature a “tech zone”, highlighting technological advances in agriculture, and the 127th annual North American Seed Fair.
