Coaldale RCMP investigating Highway 3 collision 

UPDATE: The Coaldale RCMP says traffic flow is back to normal in the area. 

The RCMP is investigating a two-vehicle crash that happened early Wednesday morning. 

The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. on August 21. The Coaldale RCMP says it happened on westbound Highway 3 at Highway 3A, the Highway 23 turn-off. 

An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist is at the scene. 

Police say traffic is unable to get through this portion of the highway. Drivers are being detoured onto the Highway 3A exit. The RCMP is asking people to avoid the area.
